The Journey Begins

As I anxiously await the final decisions from the law schools I applied to, I can't help but think how much I'll miss beautiful California. Having been accepted to a great East coast law school already, I know I'll be leaving my native state for three years.

You don't need much money to enjoy the beauty of California. My favorite summertime activity is the beach trip. Whether you go with a group of old friends and splash around in the water during a hot afternoon, or clasp hands with a loved one as you walk along the shore at sunset; the beach is the most luxurious site for free fun I've ever known.

But when it comes to spending, I can't help but squeal at the thought of going to San Francisco for a day and shopping all day. Granted I can't afford to come out with six bags draping off each arm, I still manage to have an enjoyable experience. Perhaps a nice new blouse from H&M, and maybe some new earrings, for my new look.

But it's not all that bad, I mean, wherever I end up going, it will be in or near New York...and well, that's just perfect timing right now. Right now, I've been seriously interested in developing a sense of fashion. I never had any fashion sense until college, and now I've got that sparkle in my eyes. I fervently want to embrace colors and textures and accessories. Wear the right makeup and pick the right shoes. Here's my latest attempt:

I haven't worn them out yet, but I got them off Zappos.com. They are a part of my new, yet not yet realized, fashion. I'm trying to do the same to my closet. I'm tired of my old gap sweaters that fade quickly and stretch out. Without any money, it's hard to get good quality, but by spending a little here and there, I will eventually accomplish my fashion dreams!!!

You like gotta look good if you're like going to law school and wanna live in the city right?
